Jennifer Lopez says she does not have many celebrity friends, despite her decades in the spotlight.

The 56-year-old Kiss of the Spider Woman star opened up during an interview on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, Oct. 15, revealing that she does not "have a lot, any famous friends, really." When host Howard Stern, 71, asked how that could be given her glamorous life, Lopez said she prefers a quiet routine."I don't really go to parties," she said. "I like the occasional drink, but never more than one. I go out when I have to. I'm more about work, do my thing, rush home, get cozy. I just stay in my small circle."

Lopez suggested that her reserved nature may have led people to misread her. "I think I'm shy and I don't like bothering people, so I don't connect with everybody. I think they see me as standoffish," she said. Laughing, she quickly added, "But I'm not. The minute you start talking to me, I'll be like, 'Blah, blah, blah.'"During the wide-ranging interview, her first with Stern, Lopez reflected on her childhood, career, and thoughts on love.

While she clarified that she knows many famous people, she said only a few are close to her. "I know Jane Fonda, of course," Lopez said, mentioning her Monster-in-Law co-star from 2005. "But my best friends are my sisters, Lynda and Leslie Ann."By the end of their conversation, Lopez jokingly extended that circle to include Stern himself. "You could be my famous friend," she said playfully. Stern replied, "No, you don't want me there. Trust me. I'd ruin it. I'd mess it up somehow."

Lopez's comments highlight her preference for a low-key lifestyle, focused on work and family rather than Hollywood social circles. Despite her fame, she said she finds comfort in her close-knit relationships and quiet moments at home. Currently, Lopez stars in and produces Kiss of the Spider Woman alongside Tonatiuh and Diego Luna. She also has several upcoming projects, including the romantic comedy Office Romance with Brett Goldstein, as well as The Last Mrs. Parrish and The Godmother.
