The exes posed together for the first time since their split, sparking whispers of reconciliation.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck shared an unexpected red-carpet reunion on Monday night during the New York City premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman, the new musical film produced by Affleck's Artist Equity and starring Lopez.

The former couple, who finalized their divorce earlier this year, appeared together for the first time since their split, smiling and chatting warmly before cameras. Their brief but affectionate interaction immediately set social media ablaze, with fans speculating about whether Hollywood's on-again, off-again pair might be headed for another chapter.

Lopez, 56, stunned in a sculptural Harris Reed gown from the designer's spring 2026 collection, while Affleck, 53, looked sharp in a navy suit and crisp white shirt. At one point, he offered her a hand as she maneuvered her gown on the carpet, a small gesture that didn't go unnoticed by fans or photographers.

Before the screening, Lopez thanked Affleck from the stage, saying, "This movie wouldn't have been made without Ben and Artist Equity." The actress also reflected on the timing of the project, calling it "a dream that helped me heal through one of the toughest times in my life."

Affleck, who served as an executive producer alongside longtime collaborator Matt Damon, praised Lopez's dedication to the role and described the film as "a testament to her creative drive."

Their appearance came just days after Lopez addressed their breakup on The Today Show, telling host Craig Melvin, "Things happen, and you have to keep going."

The couple, once famously dubbed Bennifer, first got engaged in 2002, called it off in 2004, reunited in 2021, and married in 2022 before parting ways in 2024.

Kiss of the Spider Woman, directed by Bill Condon, opens in theaters October 10 and marks Lopez's first major musical since Marry Me. Despite their romantic past, both stars seem committed to maintaining respect and collaboration, a rare show of grace in Hollywood's post-breakup spotlight.
