Amy Schumer is embracing her glow-up and feeling better than ever after revealing her impressive transformation, crediting weight-loss medication Mounjaro for helping her get there.
The comedian, 44, took to Instagram over the weekend to share a photo with her close friends Alex Saks and Jillian Bell, looking radiant in a belted black Miu Miu mini dress paired with open-toed heels. "My lovies," Schumer captioned the post, showing off her toned legs and confident smile.
Famous friends quickly flooded the comments. "OK legs for days!!🔥🔥❤️," wrote Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs. Director Lee Daniels added, "Skinnnnnnnny mommmmma🔥🔥🔥🔥," while Amy Sedaris called her look "classy and effortless." Even Chelsea Handler chimed in, saying, "Yes!!!!! Look at this pic!!!!"
Schumer reposted a close-up shared by Saks, teasing, "Don't call it a comeback."
Earlier this year, Schumer opened up about her experience using Mounjaro, a GLP-1 medication similar to Ozempic, commonly prescribed to help regulate blood sugar and manage weight. "Mounjaro's been great," she said in a candid Instagram video, explaining that it's typically only covered by insurance for patients with diabetes or severe obesity. "Most of the internet thinks I have that," she joked.
The Trainwreck star revealed she previously tried Wegovy three years ago but had to stop due to intense nausea. "I couldn't handle it," she said. "I don't know if they've changed the formula, whatever."
Now, Schumer says her experience with Mounjaro has been positive, helping her feel healthier and more energetic. "I wanted to keep it real with everyone," she explained.
The actress also shared that she's been navigating perimenopause with support from virtual clinic Midi Health. "They put me on estrogen and progesterone, and it changed everything, my skin, my hair, my energy," she said.
After years of health challenges, including spinal surgery following a surfing injury, Schumer's confidence has clearly returned. As one fan put it: "The glow-up is real, Amy's back and better than ever."
