Latto's acting is brand new because of her romantic life. After rumors circulated that she and fellow hip-hop artist 21 Savage were more than just friends, the "Big Energy" rapper officially announced her relationship with Savage.
In an interview published on September 29, Latto told TMZ, referring to herself in the third person, "She's just a '90s Chanel mob wife running through these New York streets," before adding, "About to go have dinner with my husband."
When asked if she was "tired" of the rumors that she and 21 Savage (born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph) were dating, the 26-year-old (real name Alyssa Michelle Stephens) responded in a straightforward but lighthearted manner.
"No," she answered. "My man—my man—my man!"
Over the years, the two musicians have collaborated on a number of songs, such as "Wheelie" from Latto's 2022 album 777 and "Pull Up" from her 2020 album Queen of da Souf. They have, however, up until now denied having a romantic relationship, with Latto previously dispelling rumors about her relationship status.
In an August 2024 interview with Apple Music, Latto told Ebro Darden, "The internet doesn't know a got-damn thing." "I enjoy keeping to myself. It isn't really anyone's concern. You'll know what you need to know if you listen to the music.
Latto made it apparent that her mystery man was a keeper, even though she refused to disclose his name to the public at the time.
She clarified, "I found someone who makes me feel better as a person." "On birthdays, our generation adores cars and Birkin bags. However, finding the person who supports, encourages, and improves you is ultimately what matters most.
Regarding 21 Savage, 32, he had previously denied dating Latto and stated that he wasn't interested in dating another well-known person.
According to Hot 97, he stated, "I don't do all the antics and s--t," during a December 2022 Clubhouse session. "I don't have a famous girlfriend."
