On September 27, 2025, Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco were married in a private ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. The couple, who had first confirmed their romantic relationship in December 2023, exchanged vows before roughly 170 friends and family at an outdoor venue at the Sea Crest Nursery.

For the ceremony, Gomez wore a custom Ralph Lauren halter-neck gown decorated with floral accents and featuring a dramatic open back. Later in the evening, she changed into a second strapless lace dress for the reception. Blanco matched her style, wearing a black Ralph Lauren tuxedo and bow tie. In announcing their union, Gomez captioned her Instagram post “🤍 9.27.25 🤍,” while Blanco added romantic flair by calling her his “real-life Disney princess.”

The wedding weekend began with a rehearsal dinner at a private estate in Hope Ranch, followed by the main ceremony held among elegant white tents, fall florals and intimate décor. Among the guests were a host of high-profile names like Taylor Swift, Paul Rudd, Martin Short, Steve Martin, Ed Sheeran, SZA, Paris Hilton, Camila Cabello and others. Taylor Swift delivered a speech at the reception, and co-stars from Gomez’s show Only Murders in the Building, Steve Martin, Martin Short and Paul Rudd, also appeared. Mark Ronson served as DJ for the evening’s celebration.

A particularly touching detail was when  Gomez was walked down the aisle by her grandfather, David Michael Cornett, rather than by her mother. Her mother, Mandy Teefey, described the moment as “heartwarming,” celebrating her daughter’s choice and expressing love for both Gomez and Blanco.

Throughout the ceremony, guests reported an emotional and celebratory atmosphere. The couple wrote their own vows, interweaving humor and sentiment, and were described by attendees as “glowing all night” and unable to stop smiling. The reception lasted well into the night with dancing and revelry.

The wedding marks a milestone in a relationship that evolved out of a long-standing professional respect. Blanco and Gomez first collaborated on hits like “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em With Kindness,” and later worked together on the 2025 joint album I Said I Love You First. Their engagement was announced in December 2024.

With their wedding now complete, Gomez and Blanco embark on their married life against a backdrop of creative partnership, shared musical history and a celebration of love witnessed by many of their closest friends and collaborators.
