Kate Gosselin is facing a storm of rumors after revealing she's been dating someone for more than a year. The speculation centers on Steve Neild, the family bodyguard she was accused of having an affair with back in 2009, the same year she and Jon Gosselin divorced.
Jon and one of their sextuplets, Collin, took to Instagram to react to the reports, first surfaced by Page Six. Jon posted screenshots of articles about the alleged relationship, writing, "Guess who really ruined the marriage," and later added, "I told you all. No one believed me, guess I was right!!!"
Collin went even further, sharing a series of Instagram Stories accusing Kate of having crossed lines with Neild years ago. "What really upsets me is that my mom had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009 and would share hotel rooms with him on family vacations while I was in a connected room!" he wrote. "Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute romance."
Collin also defended his father, saying Jon faced years of backlash and even death threats for supposedly being unfaithful and "leaving his kids." He urged Kate to "come forward and be truthful." While stressing that he doesn't feed on drama, Collin said he felt strongly about "cheating and then blaming someone else for your own actions."
Kate has not publicly addressed the new claims. Back in 2009, she vehemently denied any romantic relationship with Neild, calling the rumors "disgusting" and "unfathomable."
During a TikTok Q&A on September 22, Kate revealed she's been happily dating someone for "a little over a year," though she kept his identity secret. She said only that he's someone she's known for a long time and that he prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
Kate and Jon share twins Cara and Mady, now 24, and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, and Leah, now 21. Their reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8 catapulted them to fame in 2007 before ending amid the couple's highly publicized split.
As rumors swirl, fans await Kate's response, especially as her ex-husband and son continue to add fuel to the fire. Whether Kate's mystery man is indeed Neild remains unconfirmed, but the family drama shows no sign of slowing down.
