Finneas O'Connell, the Grammy-winning musician and brother of Billie Eilish, is officially engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski. The couple announced the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, September 24, sharing romantic photos and videos from the proposal.
The 28-year-old artist, who performs under the name FINNEAS, popped the question on Monday, September 22. The pair captioned their post, "forever and ever 9.22," alongside snapshots of the intimate sunset proposal, including a video of their helicopter ride to the scenic location. Sulewski proudly showed off her stunning cushion-cut diamond engagement ring in the post.
Finneas and Claudia first met on the exclusive dating app Raya back in 2018. Within hours of meeting her, Finneas wrote the song "Claudia," which hinted at their budding romance. The YouTuber and actress quickly became both his romantic partner and creative muse, later inspiring projects like the 2022 song "Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa."
Their relationship has been full of milestones. In October 2019, the couple announced they had purchased their first home together and later adopted a pit bull named Peaches. They've also walked numerous red carpets side by side, including the Grammys, Vanity Fair's Oscars afterparty, and the iconic pink carpet for the Barbie premiere, where Finneas and Billie collaborated on the film's hit song "What Was I Made For?"
