Zayn Malik is preparing for a milestone moment in his career with the announcement of his first Las Vegas residency. The former One Direction star revealed on Monday, September 22, that he will headline a seven-night run at Dolby Live at Park MGM in January 2026.

The residency, presented by Live Nation and MGM, will feature performances on January 20, 21, 24, 25, 28, 30, and 31. The shows will highlight music from across Malik's four studio albums, including his latest project, Room Under the Stairs, which was released in May 2024.

To mark the announcement, organizers staged a striking stunt with a helicopter flying over the Las Vegas Strip. A press release described the residency as "only the beginning of what will be a massive year for [Malik] as he gears up for his next chapter." Malik himself echoed the excitement on Instagram, writing simply: "VEGAS!! JAN 2026!!"

The residency builds on a wave of momentum for the 32-year-old singer. Following the release of Room Under the Stairs, Malik embarked on his first-ever solo tour in 2024. The trek, titled Stairway to the Sky, included sold-out shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and extended into North America, with stops in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Mexico City.

Speaking about the personal inspiration behind his most recent album, Malik told fans: "I think the intention behind this album fully is for the listener to get more insight on me personally as a human being. My ambitions, my fears... and for them to have a connection with that. And that's why it's so raw, you know?" He added, "There's just me writing this. I didn't want anyone else to be in between me and the music, and the music and the people listening to it."

With his Las Vegas residency on the horizon, Malik—who first topped charts in 2016 with his debut solo record Mind of Mine—continues to cement his place as a global pop powerhouse.
