The Jonas Brothers are heading back to camp. More than 15 years after Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam debuted, Disney Branded Television has officially greenlit Camp Rock 3 for Disney+ and Disney Channel, with filming already underway in Vancouver.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas will reprise their roles as Connect 3 while also serving as executive producers alongside Demi Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres in the first two films. Though Lovato is not currently slated to appear onscreen, she joins the project in a behind-the-scenes role. Maria Canals-Barrera returns as Connie, Mitchie's mother, while Sherry Cola joins the franchise as a new character, Lark.

According to Disney's official synopsis, the story begins when Connect 3 "lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing." New campers compete for the coveted spot, including Sage (Liamani Segura), her brother Desi (Hudson Stone), cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack), drummer Cliff (Casey Trotter), choreographer Callie (Brooklynn Pitts), influencer Madison (Ava Jean), and camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton). The logline promises "tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances."

Joe Jonas recently teased the film by posting a video from set, walking through camp in a leather jacket and sunglasses and repeating his famous line: "I'm Shane Gray, for crying out loud." He captioned the clip, "close enough, welcome back shane gray."

Behind the camera, the movie is directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye, with choreography by Jamal Sims. Executive producers also include Tim Federle, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh.

Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, said in a statement: "Camp Rock is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day. Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can't wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation."

The original Camp Rock premiered in 2008 and became a cultural phenomenon, launching the Jonas Brothers and Lovato into superstardom. Its sequel, released in 2010, was among the most-watched Disney Channel movies of all time.

Fans won't have to wait long for more Jonas content either—Disney+ will premiere A Very Jonas Christmas Movie on November 14.
