The NFL star opened up about his upcoming wedding and the challenges on the field.

On the September 17 episode of his New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, chatted with his brother, Jason Kelce, and guest Jimmy Fallon. The late-night host congratulated Travis on the opening of his new steakhouse, 1587 Prime, launched with teammate Patrick Mahomes, before shifting gears to ask about Kelce's highly anticipated wedding to Taylor Swift.

"Are you already planning the wedding? Is that the next move?" Fallon, 50, asked. Travis laughed before responding, "That's definitely the next step. Honestly, it's easier than figuring out how to win football games right now." The Super Bowl champion hinted that he and Swift, also 35, are leaning toward live music for their reception. "We're definitely live music people," he teased.

The couple announced their engagement in August after two years of dating, sharing a joint Instagram post filled with photos from Kelce's heartfelt proposal. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the caption read.

Reflecting on the engagement, Travis admitted earlier this month that he's still feeling "giddy" about their future together. He also shared advice for anyone planning a proposal: "Know your partner. Don't copy what someone else did. It's about creating something meaningful for the two of you."

According to a source close to the pair, a wedding isn't the only milestone on the horizon. "They both want a family," the insider told Us Weekly. "Their dream is to have kids, and they probably won't wait long."

While his personal life is thriving, Travis has faced challenges on the field. The Chiefs are off to a 0-2 start this season after losses to the Chargers and Eagles. "We're not hitting the mark we set for ourselves," he admitted. "I've got to step up for my teammates. A rough start isn't what anyone envisioned.
