Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli are giving their relationship another shot. A source exclusively confirms to People that the Euphoria actor, 28, and influencer, 25, are "seeing each other again" after their reported breakup just one month ago.
"Even though they've been on and off, they've stayed close friends and talked regularly," the insider shares. "Olivia's family is very fond of Jacob, and they share the same group of friends, which has made reconnecting easier."
Speculation about their reconciliation began on Sept. 8 when Giannulli was spotted supporting Elordi at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his upcoming film Frankenstein. Although the pair didn't pose together on the red carpet, onlookers caught glimpses of them heading into the theater side by side, with Elordi even appearing to hold the train of Giannulli's dress.
Fans shared photos and videos from outside the venue, further fueling rumors that the two were back together.
The couple's relationship has been a roller coaster since they first sparked dating rumors in late 2021, shortly after Elordi's split from model Kaia Gerber. By summer 2023, they were seen vacationing in Italy and spending time with Giannulli's parents, actress Lori Loughlin and designer Mossimo Giannulli, on Lake Coeur d'Alene in Idaho.
They briefly called it quits again in August 2022 but later reconciled, with People confirming in July 2023 that they were "getting serious."
Their most recent split reportedly happened in August of this year, after Giannulli returned to Los Angeles from a summer abroad in Paris. Around the same time, Elordi was spotted in Santa Monica with his Euphoria castmates while filming for the show's highly anticipated third season.
According to the source, this latest reunion feels different. "They're taking things slow and being more intentional this time," the insider explains. "Both of them have matured and want to see where this goes."
While neither Elordi nor Giannulli has commented publicly, their recent appearance together suggests that the Hollywood pair is ready to move forward, cautiously, but together, after years of ups and downs.
