The couple made a stunning appearance at the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 14
Selena Gomez ended her Emmys night with a heartfelt surprise from her fiancé, Benny Blanco, following their glamorous evening at the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 14.
The Only Murders in the Building star, 33, revealed the thoughtful gesture on Instagram the next morning, sharing photos of her backyard transformed into a romantic, candlelit escape. In one snapshot, Gomez beamed as she stood near her pool, surrounded by glowing candles. She paired the moment with a touching caption: "Grateful for all these people forever and always. Came home to a surprise my baby put together ☺️."
Blanco, 37, returned the affection with a playful comment, writing, "I win an award every night (you)."
Earlier in the evening, Gomez stunned on the red carpet in a striking floor-length red Louis Vuitton halter gown with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Blanco complemented her look in a classic black suit. The couple shared sweet PDA moments as they posed for photographers before heading inside the Peacock Theater.
Gomez's hit Hulu series, Only Murders in the Building, had seven nominations this year, and she spent part of the night celebrating with co-star Richard Kind and other cast members. She later shared behind-the-scenes photos from the ceremony and an after-party, including moments with Hollywood icons Cate Blanchett, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.
On her Instagram Stories, Gomez posted another photo of Blanco's romantic setup, this time relaxing on a lounge chair by the glowing pool. She also shared a mirror selfie showing off her glamorous Emmy night look.
The couple's appearance at the Emmys comes just weeks after their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in August. Gomez and Blanco, who announced their engagement in December 2024, are in the midst of wedding planning. While a date has not yet been announced, celebrity friends like Ed Sheeran and Paris Hilton are expected to attend.
