On September 7, the former Disney Channel star shared pictures of her growing baby bump to announce her pregnancy with husband Josh Dun.
One photo featured the Twenty One Pilots rocker holding up a pair of baby Vans sneakers while the couple held Debby's expanding belly in a white butterfly top. In a joint Instagram post, Debby and Josh wrote, "done&done + one."
Along with a custom cartoon of themselves created by the visual artist duo DabsMyla, the couple also shared a sonogram of their unborn child.
Josh, 37, and Debby, 32, began dating in 2013. Her future husband learned "how to tie a bow tie" for their first date, the Jessie alum claims.
In a 2018 Instagram tribute to the musician, she wrote, "You were only 24 here," as the caption for a vintage picture of the two of them having dinner by candlelight, "before I dyed your hair and you taught me love."
Josh was also attracted to Debby's lively personality.
In a 2022 interview with Kenny Sipes, he said, "I always tried to envision what marriage would look like from when I was a kid, and it never really looked quite like this." "I thought my parents were really mature when I was younger. Debby and I are just kids."
"We live in an adult house, and we decorate it like kids and do kid stuff in it," the drummer went on. We spent the other night in the kitchen, jumping around and eating snacks because we couldn't sleep. My parents probably did the same things, but I never witnessed it and had no idea what marriage could be like.
However, that doesn't mean Debby and Josh aren't ready for the next significant turning point in their relationship. They have, in Debby's words, "evolved and grown so much" since their first encounter.
In 2018, she told The Sydney Morning Herald, "We are each other's biggest fans, and it's cool and special to have that support system."
