On the Sept. 2 episode of her Just B With Bethenny Frankel podcast, the 54-year-old reality star shared that she briefly dated Curtis "maybe 10 years ago." While she didn't dive into specifics "out of respect" for Aniston, Frankel made it clear she holds no grudges.
"I dated Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend and he was a nice guy," Frankel said. "I'm happy for her."
Frankel reflected on their short-lived fling, hinting that Curtis' wellness-focused lifestyle wasn't a perfect fit for her at the time.
"I never participated in it much," she admitted. "We talked about it, but we just didn't get that into it."
Despite their differences, Frankel believes Curtis, a former Wall Street trader turned wellness coach, is a great match for the Friends star.
"With the wellness aspect, there's an earthiness to it, and it vibes with Jen Aniston," she said. "I do believe she wants to find love, and it's been difficult for her. I like them as a match."
The Bravo alum even went so far as to "bet" on their relationship lasting, gushing, "He's a handsome, nice man, and he seems kind. I think this is good. I'm happy for her and for him."
Aniston, 56, and Curtis, who shares a teenage son with his ex-wife Rachel Napolitano, first sparked romance rumors in July when they were photographed vacationing together in Mallorca, Spain, alongside Aniston's longtime friends Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka. Since then, they've been spotted on multiple outings, including a trip to Big Sur, California.
Frankel also weighed in on Aniston's ex-husbands, noting that Brad Pitt, 61, was a "decent match" while Justin Theroux, 54, was "more intense." Aniston was married to Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Theroux from 2015 to 2018.
Another former flame of Curtis, Alyssa Pettinato, spoke to the Daily Mail earlier this summer, revealing that Curtis and Aniston share a "strong cultural bond" through their shared Greek heritage.
