Sharna Burgess had a fiery response to a social media user who commented on a video of her and fiancé Brian Austin Green's 3-year-old son Zane Green saying that he "looks like a girl."
The former contestant of Dancing With the Stars responded to a social media comment that said her and her fiancé Brian Austin Green's 3-year-old son, Zane Green, "looks like a girl."
In a video posted to Sharna's Instagram on September 2, Zane, sporting khaki shorts, a green shirt, and sneakers, held up a sign that read, "Zane's first day of Pre-K." He had his long blond hair in a bun. As Brian was ready to go for the big day, Sharna and his half-siblings, Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, who Brian has with his ex-wife Megan Fox, excited him in the background.
One person commented on the adorable video, saying, "Damn now even this guy looks like a girl why do all his boys look like girls."
Sharna responded to the offensive message by clapping back beneath the post, saying, "Take your account off private so I can comment on how you look too."
Sharna, who became engaged to Brian in 2023, a year after giving birth to Zane, has previously responded to criticism directed against her and Brian's children's appearance.
In fact, because of the criticism, the 38-year-old recently stated that she would never sign her blended family to a reality show. Sharna clarified in an October 2024 episode of the Between Us Moms podcast, "We already get media articles like I'm forcing Zane to be a girl because I haven't cut his hair yet." "Or the ridiculous people saying that the kids are being forced to be girls—I don't understand it."
The dancer continued by emphasizing that she had no want to expose her kids to more mockery.
"Imagine us doing an actual reality show," she added. "The attention is just not healthy for our kids and it's certainly not Brian's style either."
Even if she doesn't want any children to encounter that kind of scrutiny, Sharna feels blessed that her son has such a wonderful support system around him as he moves into new chapters of life.
Sharna Burgess expressed gratitude for her "blended tribe" in an Instagram caption, detailing how her partner's siblings supported his first morning drop-off, which she described as "my everything."
