Philadelphia 76ers star forward Paul George underwent arthroscopic left knee surgery on Monday after suffering an injury in a recent workout, the NBA team announced. The 35-year-old American had a successful operation in New York and will begin a rehabilitation program with progress regularly monitored and a re-evaluation prior to the start of training camp in late September.

Three-time NBA All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal has agreed to leave the Phoenix Suns and plans to join Kawhi Leonard and James Harden's Los Angeles Clippers, US media reported Wednesday. Beal spent the last two seasons as part of a very ambitious Suns project alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.

Damian Lillard (35) returned to the Portland Trailblazers locker room on Tuesday for the first time since signing his new deal. The future Hall of Famer returned to the locker room he called home for 11 years before going to the Milwaukee Bucks.   "I feel so happy on the inside." "The city of Portland, and the Trail Blazers as an organization, are important to me," Lillard said in his return press conference on Tuesday.

The Phoenix Suns signed star point guard Devin Booker (28) to a two-year, $145 million extension on Thursday that'll keep him on the team through the 2029-2030 season. Booker's extension salary is the highest in NBA history. It now marks his third extension with the team as he looks to possibly spend his entire career as a member of the Suns.

Japanese point guard Yuki Kawamura has signed a contract with the Chicago Bulls after a strong NBA Las Vegas Summer League performance, the team announced on Saturday. The 24-year-old who made his NBA debut last season with Memphis played five games for the Bulls team in Vegas and averaged 10.2 points, 6.2 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals a game.

Caitlin Clark returned from a groin injury on Wednesday night, but her presence was not enough to spark the Indiana Fever, who suffered a tough 80-61 home loss to the Golden State Valkyries. Following the defeat, coach Stephanie White pointed to a "lack of competitive fire" as a major factor in the team's underwhelming performance.
