In a rare and unsettling development, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have charged four men, including active-duty members of the Canadian Armed Forces, in connection with an alleged plot to establish an anti-government militia and forcibly seize land near Quebec City. The charges, made public on Tuesday, follow an 18-month-long investigation led by Quebec's Integrated National Security Enforcement Team.

A tragic event has left Camp Mystic in shock. The Texas summer camp reported that 27 of its counselors and students perished in the July 4 flash floods.

On July 7, the camp, which had 750 campers at the time of the crisis, said on its website, "Camp Mystic is grieving the loss of 27 campers and counselors following the catastrophic flooding on the Guadalupe River." Together with our families, we are grieving over this unfathomable loss. We never stop praying for them.

Gunfire was still echoing across Khan Younis on Saturday when two American aid workers collapsed, bleeding, beside pallets of wheat flour.  The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) , a U.S‑ and Israeli‑backed charity created in May to bypass Hamas control of supplies, says "two assailants threw grenades at our personnel moments after the last family collected food."  Both workers remain in stable condition.
