The legal battle, initiated under the Freedom of Information Act in 2022, was a request for documents concerning an alleged domestic violence event during the couple's transatlantic flight with their six children. In the lawsuit, Jolie, listed as "Jane Doe," accused Pitt of verbal and physical abuse that caused lasting trauma to her and their children.
