Harry Styles is ushering in a new musical chapter with the announcement of his latest single, offering fans a first glimpse of what is to come.

The British pop star, 31, revealed on Tuesday, Jan. 20, that his new song, "Aperture," will be released on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. ET. The track serves as the lead single from his forthcoming fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., marking his long awaited return to new music.

Styles shared the news on Instagram with a candid photo taken in the recording studio. In the image, he stands with his arms stretched wide and a broad smile across his face, capturing a moment of joy and creative release as he prepares to share the project with the world.

"Aperture" is Styles' first single since "Satellite" in 2023. The song's title draws from photography, where an aperture refers to the adjustable opening of a camera lens that controls how much light enters. The term often symbolizes clarity, openness, and perspective, themes that fans are already speculating will shape the sound and message of the new album.

Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. is set for release on March 6 and will feature 12 tracks. The album follows 2022's Harry's House, which proved to be a defining moment in Styles' career. That record earned him Grammy Awards for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non Classical, cementing his place among pop's most influential artists.

In recent weeks, Styles has quietly fueled anticipation for his return. He launched a website titled WeBelongTogether.co, which features an image of him attending an outdoor art class and an interactive wheel that allows users to spin between the words "disco" and "kiss." Clicking the wheel leads fans to a phone number connected to the star's team. Posters bearing the phrase "we belong together" have also appeared in major cities including New York, Berlin, and Palermo, Italy.

Styles last toured extensively in support of Harry's House with his two year Love on Tour run, which wrapped in July 2023. Reflecting on the experience, he described it as the greatest of his life and thanked fans for their unwavering support.

Since stepping back from the spotlight, Styles has kept a low profile, spending time in Italy with girlfriend Zoë Kravitz and even completing the Berlin Marathon in September. Now, with "Aperture," he is ready to step back into the light.
