Shawn Mendes is set to mark a decade since the release of his debut album Handwritten with a celebratory world tour titled On the Road Again. The tour will span major cities across Europe and North America, beginning August 2, 2025, at the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, Kosovo, and concluding October 17 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The Canadian singer-songwriter, 26, shared the news on May 29, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support from his fans. "I feel like time away has allowed me to come back and recognize and remember how unbelievably special it is to get to play live shows," Mendes said. "It's an honor and I'm just beyond grateful that you guys keep showing up after 10 years with so much love."
The tour follows Mendes' 2024 return with the album Shawn, which featured tracks like "Why Why Why" and "Heart of Gold." His most recent full tour, Wonder, was cancelled in 2022 so he could focus on his mental health. Reflecting on his return to performing, Mendes shared, "Honestly, before I played in South America a couple months ago I was scared... I had the absolute best time. I almost forgot I have one of the best jobs in this world."
The European leg will include stops in Kraków, Budapest, London, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Munich, among others. In North America, concerts will take place in Boston (Sept. 25), Toronto (Sept. 28), Montréal (Oct. 1), New York (Oct. 3), Chicago (Oct. 8), Vancouver (Oct. 12), San Francisco (Oct. 14), and Los Angeles (Oct. 17).
Fans can expect a setlist highlighting Mendes' biggest hits from Handwritten through Shawn, including "Stitches," "Treat You Better," and "In My Blood." Joining him on stage will be special guests MARO and Lubiana in Europe, and Eddie Benjamin in North America. "I'm completely in love with all 3 of these humans," Mendes said. "So happy and grateful to have them."
