Aubrey Plaza is preparing for a new chapter.

A source confirms that the actress is expecting her first child with her partner, Chris Abbott, with the baby anticipated later this year.

"It came as an unexpected but joyful moment," the source shares, adding that the couple is "grateful and looking ahead with optimism."

A representative for Plaza also confirmed the pregnancy.

Plaza, 41, and Abbott, 40, have built both a professional and personal connection over the years. The two previously starred together in an Off-Broadway production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and later reunited onscreen in the 2020 psychological drama Black Bear.

Abbott is currently appearing on Broadway in a revival of Death of a Salesman, continuing his steady presence in theater.

Actress Tori Spelling has shared her first public comments after being involved in a serious car crash in Temecula, California, just days before Easter, with seven children in the vehicle.

Spelling revealed that she was driving with four of her own children and three of their friends when their car was struck by another driver. According to her account, the other vehicle was moving at high speed and may have run a red light, leading to the collision.

"I just wanted to reach out to everyone. This took me a bit to post, because as most of you know, four of my kids and I and three of their friends were in a car accident a few days before Easter in Temecula [California]," she said in a video shared on Instagram.

A woman accused of supplying the ketamine connected to the death of Friends star Matthew Perry has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison.

Jasveen Sangha, often referred to by prosecutors as the "Ketamine Queen," previously pleaded guilty to five felony counts, including maintaining a drug-involved premises and distributing ketamine, one of which resulted in death. The sentencing took place on Wednesday, April 8, following months of legal proceedings tied to Perry's 2023 overdose.

Authorities said Sangha operated a drug distribution network from her residence in Los Angeles and supplied ketamine through intermediary Erik Fleming. The drugs ultimately reached Perry through his live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, who later administered multiple injections.

Rapper Lil Tjay has been arrested in Florida following an incident that led to the shooting of fellow artist Offset outside a casino.

The 24-year-old, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was taken into custody on Monday, April 6, and booked into Broward County Jail. According to police records obtained by PEOPLE, he was charged with disorderly conduct, affray, a first-degree misdemeanor, and held on a $500 bond.
