Travis Kelce has no hard feelings toward Prince William for trying to get him out of a photo with Taylor Swift and the royal's children before his relationship with the singer became a marriage.

The Kansas City Chiefs star addressed William's recent comments during the October 28 episode of his New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. The Prince of Wales had previously joked that he tried to move Travis out of a selfie taken during Swift's London Eras Tour concert in June 2024.

"I get it, man," Travis said in response. "I was just a boyfriend at that point. You know? I wasn't her husband yet."

Travis went on to imagine what might have been running through William's mind as they posed together. "We don't really know if this is gonna last, so it's kinda just move out of the way real quick so we can keep this photo forever," he joked.

Jason agreed that the royal's thinking was understandable, pointing out that the photograph could have become awkward if the couple had eventually split. "Hopefully, this doesn't go south," Jason teased. "Otherwise, this photo is not gonna be as good."

The brothers then gave William a humorous solution to his original predicament. Their podcast's graphics team edited Travis out of the photograph, leaving Swift, William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte in the frame.

"Nice!" Travis exclaimed after seeing the altered image. He then suggested sending it to the royal. "I gotta ship that to him. Just send it to Buckingham Palace. You think it'll get to him?" he asked.

William originally revealed his attempt to move Travis during an October appearance on The Graham Norton Show. The royal admitted that he had only recently realised the significance of the photograph, which marked the first time Swift and Travis publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram.

"I hadn't appreciated the significance — and actually, I was trying to move him out of the photo," William said.

He explained that Travis kept returning to the frame, despite his efforts to get a picture with Swift and his two eldest child
ren without the football player. "But Travis kept coming back in, and I couldn't work out why he kept coming back in," William joked.
