Olivia Ponton has opened up about a difficult part of her dating history, offering a blunt perspective on infidelity while discussing the experiences that have shaped her approach to relationships.
The model and social media personality recently addressed cheating on her “Booked & Busy” podcast, revealing that she’s been betrayed in every relationship she had before her reported romance with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
Ponton explained that those experiences affected her differently when she was younger, as she would sometimes blame herself and allow self-doubt to creep in.
“I think cheating is a sign of insecurity,” she said. “If you feel the need to be in a happy, healthy relationship with somebody, and go to get outside validation that you are attractive, that is not a reflection of this perfectly great person that could be in your life.
“That is a reflection on them. That’s my hot take.”
Ponton and Burrow have kept their relationship private
Ponton’s comments have also generated interest because of her reported connection to Burrow.
The Bengals quarterback and Ponton haven't publicly confirmed that they're officially dating, although their appearances together and several reports have led to ongoing speculation surrounding their relationship.
The pair first became the subject of heightened attention in December 2024 after Ponton contacted authorities following a burglary at Burrow’s Ohio home.
The quarterback was away with Cincinnati at the time, and the incident quickly brought additional scrutiny to his private life.
Shortly afterward, People reported that Burrow and Ponton had reportedly been seeing each other since the fall of 2024, with the relationship described as casual at that stage.
Neither has offered a detailed public account of their relationship since then.
Burrow had previously been in a long-term relationship with Olivia Holzmacher.
The two met while attending Ohio State and remained together for more than six years, including during Burrow’s transition from college football standout to NFL quarterback. Their relationship reportedly ended in 2024.
