Travis Kelce has spoken publicly about his wedding to Taylor Swift for the first time, describing the Madison Square Garden celebration as the "best night of my life" and referring to the pop star as his "wife."

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end discussed the couple's July 3 wedding while speaking with reporters at the team's training camp on Wednesday. Although Kelce has largely kept details of their marriage private, he offered a brief glimpse into the celebration and what made their choice of venue special to him.

"It was a fun offseason, man," Kelce said. "Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us."

The 36-year-old athlete also described the occasion as a "crazy night" filled with celebration, but did not reveal many additional details about the ceremony.

Kelce explained that getting married at Madison Square Garden had personal significance because the iconic New York venue had long been associated with one of his childhood dreams. He also joked about the venue's air conditioning, particularly as New York experienced hot weather around the time of the wedding.

"It was cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue," he said, describing Madison Square Garden as "the mecca of all sports venues."

While discussing the arena, Kelce made another notable comment by referring to Swift as "my wife" for the first time publicly. He recalled that he had hoped to attend a Knicks playoff game there but was unable to because of his football commitments.

"I always told myself I'd go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking," Kelce said. "My wife went when I was stuck in training camp."

Kelce and Swift began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement in August 2025. Since then, they have largely kept their relationship away from the public spotlight, making Kelce's first comments about their wedding a rare glimpse into their married life.
