Anna Faris sparked concern after appearing at the Spa Day premiere in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
The 49-year-old actress – who raised fears after a public appearance in June - left fans worried about her demeanor during a red carpet interview with E! News.
Faris was answering a question about parenthood when some social media users expressed concern, with one asking, 'Is she ok?'
'What is up with her demeanor? Something's not right,' another wrote underneath the clip.
More than one person wrote online that the longtime entertainer's eyes appeared red and 'bloodshot.'
The star shares son Jack, who turns 14 on August 17, with ex-husband Chris Pratt, 47.
However, other social media users defended the star: 'I think the new age “beauty standards” have been forced upon us, so heavily, that when we see a woman aging naturally we jump to concern and worry...'
'I don’t like this. Yes, her eyes are a little red from tiredness, a drink, or buzz of some sort (it is a party) but her words and point come across crystal clear??'
Others praised Faris for her natural approach to aging. One Instagram user gushed that she looked 'beautiful' as she ages 'without Botox , filler, and plastic surgery.'
Another wrote in a comment with a heart-eye emoji, '100% natural, 0% Botox.'
'I love her aging naturally,' another supporter wrote.
Faris reflected on having a teenage son in the interview in question, admitting she sometimes questions herself as a mother.
'I'm an older mom,' she acknowledged, before adding elsewhere, 'I hope I'm doing ok. I didn't always feel like I fit in with the parents of [Jack's] friends. I always felt like I was kind of messing up somehow.'
The speculation and concern comes two months after Faris similarly sparked worry while promoting Scary Movie 6.
