Alabama Barker is firing back at body-shamers.
The 22-year-old said she plans to take a GLP-1 medication in response to comments about her appearance. “This is not very role model of me, but I’m gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic,” she said in a TikTok on Thursday, July 30. The GLP-1 drug is an FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes — and has transformed the weight-loss landscape and become increasingly popular.
“I’m going to become so skinny, you’re gonna tell me I need a burger, because the way that people body shame me is f---ing disgusting,” she said.
Alabama, daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler, continued, “I f---ing hate you guys, and I’m gonna get so skinny. F--- you. No ass, no tits, 2027. Bye.”
Alabama has previously responded to critiques about her appearance. In February 2024, she addressed claims she had undergone cosmetic surgery. “I’m natural, besides my lips, accept the fact I’m naturally beautiful,” Alabama said at the time.
Months prior, in August 2023, she responded to “catfish” comments, saying in a TikTok video that she had an autoimmune disease and a thyroid problem, causing her weight to fluctuate. She added that she hoped any young girls watching her video would not ever “think there’s something wrong with [gaining weight].”
