Erling Haaland has once again delighted fans on social media, this time by responding to a makeup artist whose creative tribute featuring the Norwegian striker quickly went viral online.

The Manchester City and Norway forward, who became one of the standout stars of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has remained highly active on social media since the tournament ended. His brief and often humorous online interactions have earned him a reputation for surprising fans with unexpected replies.

One of those fans was makeup artist Natalia, known on Instagram as "trillnati." She caught Haaland's attention after sharing an elaborate makeup design that transformed her eyelid into a miniature portrait of the footballer.

The artwork featured Haaland's side profile, complete with his signature long blond hair. Natalia carefully painted the detailed image using a fine makeup brush before adding a bright green background inspired by a football pitch. She paired the video with the popular track "Haaland (Ha Ha Ha)" by CTID.

Sharing the clip, Natalia joked that Instagram is the only place where someone can paint Erling Haaland on their eyelid and have "some guy named Erling" comment on it.

To her surprise, Haaland responded with a simple one word comment: "Nice."

Although brief, the reply quickly attracted massive attention, receiving hundreds of thousands of likes within a day. Fans praised the footballer's willingness to engage with creative content and his trademark understated sense of humor.

Inspired by the interaction, Natalia created a second makeup design in hopes of earning another response. This time, she recreated the viral green onion meme that many fans have jokingly compared to Haaland because of its resemblance to his long blond hairstyle.

The artwork featured the vegetable's white stem and green leaves, with Natalia referencing Haaland's earlier comment in the caption. She playfully asked whether the second creation was "nice nice," though the striker has yet to respond.

The second video was also set to the song "Haaland (Ha Ha Ha)," continuing the lighthearted theme that has become popular among his supporters.

Haaland's popularity soared during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he led Norway on an impressive run to the quarterfinals. His performances, combined with the team's Viking rowing celebrations after victories, made him one of the tournament's biggest attractions.

Norway's campaign ended with a 2-1 defeat to England in the quarterfinals. Although Haaland was unable to score in that match, he finished his first World Cup with seven goals in four appearances.

Following the tournament, the striker shared an emotional farewell message on Instagram, thanking the United States for its hospitality and describing the experience as unforgettable. The post further strengthened his connection with fans, both for his performances on the pitch and his engaging personality away from football.
