Becky G is giving back to her family's roots through a new partnership with Patrón Tequila aimed at improving access to clean and reliable water for communities in Jalisco, Mexico. The singer and actress has joined the brand to launch the Our Rainwater Project Limited Edition Patrón Silver Collection, with proceeds helping to fund sustainable rainwater harvesting systems across the region where her grandparents were born.

The special edition collection features a collectible Patrón Silver bottle and commemorative tin designed by Becky G. Inspired by the natural beauty of Jalisco, the packaging incorporates shades of green and blue to symbolize rain, water and the importance of preserving local communities.

In a documentary released alongside the collection, Becky G explained that the design represents more than just a limited edition product. She said the bottle reflects the power of rain and celebrates the people who continue to preserve their heritage. According to the Mexican American star, every drop of water represents hope and opportunity for the people of Jalisco.

She also highlighted the contrast between the region's global significance and the challenges many residents continue to face in accessing dependable sources of clean water. Through the campaign, Becky G hopes to raise awareness of the issue while supporting practical, long-term solutions.

Patrón has pledged to fund the installation of 200 rainwater harvesting systems in partnership with the nonprofit organization Isla Urbana. The systems collect rainwater from rooftops, filter it and store it in tanks, providing families with a reliable water supply throughout the year.

Jennifer White, the nonprofit's general director, explained that the initiative is designed to capture rainfall, purify it and make it available for everyday household use. The systems are expected to improve living conditions for hundreds of families by reducing water shortages and increasing access to safe water.

The partnership continues Becky G's long history of supporting community-focused initiatives. In recent years, she collaborated with Cheetos on the Deja Tu Huella campaign, which awarded scholarships to community college students, and has also worked alongside the Save the Music Foundation to expand educational opportunities.

Reflecting on her advocacy work, Becky G said she feels fortunate that her growing career has allowed her to amplify causes that matter to her. She believes meaningful change begins within families and local communities, adding that supporting Jalisco is especially personal because it represents her family's home and heritage.

The Our Rainwater Project Limited Edition Patrón Silver Collection is now available in limited quantities across the United States, with the initiative helping bring sustainable water solutions to communities throughout Jalisco.
