Bunnie Xo has opened up about her decision to remove the episode in which she discussed her divorce from country star Jelly Roll.
The episode, released on June 18, quickly became her most successful, earning $100,000 and drawing massive attention. Yet by July 10, she had deleted it, explaining that she wanted "the space to heal, to evolve and to move forward."
She admitted that while her initial comments were raw and necessary at the time, she no longer wanted one of the hardest moments of her life to remain permanently online.
"I realized I just don't want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline," she said. "It was real, it was honest and it came from exactly where I was emotionally in that moment. But I'm not in that same place anymore."
Bunnie revealed that Jelly Roll filed for divorce in May following a Mother's Day argument, though she noted their communication had been breaking down for over a year. She described the split as "not mutual" but emphasized her respect for his decision.
"He's my best friend. I don't care how f--ked up our relationship was, which it wasn't that f--ked up. I was riding with this motherf--ker till the wheels fell off," she explained.
Despite the separation, the two remain close and plan to co-parent together. Jelly Roll is father to Bailee Ann, 18, and Noah, 9, from previous relationships, and Bunnie confirmed that they still intend to have a child together.
The deleted episode had been her highest-viewed podcast ever, but she stressed that financial gain was not her priority. "I made 100,000 on that podcast, yes, it was one of my highest viewed episodes. But I don't care about the money. If I cared about the money, I would have left it up and let it get another $100,000," she said.
She added that she doesn't want to be "the poster child for divorce" or defined by that chapter of her life.
While recently spotted kissing Calabasas Confidential star Dylan Wolf in Nashville, Bunnie clarified that she is not dating seriously. "I'm not dating anyone. I don't want to date anyone. I am here for fun, baby. I am having fun," she said, pushing back against speculation that she moved on too quickly. She explained that she had been mourning the marriage privately for at least a year, enduring moments of deep grief.
