Donna Kelce has spoken warmly about the wedding of her son, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, and Grammy-winning artist Taylor Swift, held July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The event drew more than 1,000 guests and a lineup of A-list celebrities, but for the mother of the groom, one word summed it up: "magical."
In an interview shared on Macy's Instagram during the Fourth of July celebrations, Donna said, "I really can't say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man. Magical."
Her brief but heartfelt description echoed the joy she has expressed since the couple began dating in 2023. Speaking to The Wall Street Journal that year, she noted, "He's happier than I've seen him in a long time.... God bless him. He shot for the stars!"
Family played a central role in the ceremony. Travis' brother Jason Kelce stood as best man, while Taylor's brother Austin Swift was named Man of Honor. Their parents also shared their support publicly.
Taylor's mother Andrea Swift remarked in her docuseries The End of an Era, "Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness." Travis' father Ed Kelce added in a June 2026 interview, "She is a sweetheart. I am super excited."
The wedding itself was a star-studded affair. Guests included Jennifer Lopez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Reese Witherspoon, and Jack Antonoff. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, a fitting choice given Travis' cameo in the comedian's 2025 film Happy Gilmore 2.
Both bride and groom wore Christian Dior Haute Couture paired with Christian Louboutin shoes, while digital screens across Madison Square Garden lit up with the playful message: "JUST&T MARRIED!"
