Demi Moore is claimed to have landed an eyewatering pay raise for season three of Landman, a show from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan.

Billy Bob Thornton leads the cast as Tommy, a buccaneering executive for a Texas oil company who eventually maneuvers his way to become president of the firm.

Jon Hamm featured on season one as the company's owner Monty, with Moore playing his wife Cami, who succeeds him in his position upon his death.

Moore, 63, is said to have had an atypical contract that lasted only two years, meaning she was able to renegotiate her pay in advance of the third season.

As a result she will now allegedly make between $740,000 and $770,000 per episode, according to a report in the trade publication Deadline.

Her new salary will be equal to that earned by Thornton, who supposedly had a three-year contract and will consequently only be able to enter talks to enhance his own wages after the third season, provided the show is renewed for a fourth.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Moore, Thornton and their co-stars Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph and Jacob Lofland for comment.

The exception was Ali Larter, who plays the ex-wife of Thornton's character and who is reported to have only finished up her pay raise talks recently.

She will now supposedly be earning more than $350,000 per episode, an amount more than twice what she had previously been making.

Michelle Randolph and Jacob Lofland, who play the grown children of Thornton and Larter's characters, are also reported to have secured wage increases.

Each of them will reputedly be making between $130,000 and $180,000 per episode, which - as in Larter's case - is allegedly over double their prior salary.

Since its premiere in 2024, Landman has emerged as another hit for Sheridan, and over its run has added such legacy actors as Sam Elliott and Andy Garcia.

Elliott plays TL Norris, the father of Thornton's character Tommy Norris, while Garcia plays Danny Morrell, a financier who doubles as the head of a drug cartel.

Guest stars have included Blake Lively's elder half-sister Robyn Lively, as well as Michael Pena and Sons of Anarchy alumnus Emilio Rivera.
