Millie Bobby Brown recently opened up about her journey to motherhood through adoption, sharing personal reflections on the process and the lessons she learned along the way.

The actress appeared on an episode of Kylie Kelce's podcast, Not Gonna Lie, where she discussed becoming a parent with her husband, Jake Bongiovi. During the conversation, Kelce asked Brown what advice she would offer to others considering adoption.

Brown explained that one of the most difficult parts of the experience was waiting to be matched with a child. She encouraged prospective adoptive parents to remember that every adoption journey is unique and should not be compared to anyone else's experience.

According to Brown, it is important not to focus on timelines, statistics or the progress of other families. Instead, she believes parents should trust that the right child is out there and that their paths will eventually cross.

The actress shared that this belief became a source of comfort during the process and something she regularly prayed about. Looking back, she said she feels grateful that she and her daughter ultimately found one another.

Brown also revealed that adoption had long been part of her vision for the future. She recalled that even as a young child, she imagined building a family through adoption. While playing with dolls growing up, she would often pretend they had been adopted rather than imagining herself as a pregnant parent.

She clarified that her desire to adopt was never connected to a lack of interest in having biological children. Brown said she hopes pregnancy may be part of her future one day, but adoption was always something she felt strongly about pursuing.

Emphasizing the importance of adoptive families, Brown described adoption as an enduring act of love and commitment.

Brown and Bongiovi have largely kept their daughter's life out of the public spotlight. Since becoming parents, they have chosen not to reveal her name or share photographs showing her face on social media.

When announcing their daughter's arrival in 2025, the couple shared their excitement about entering a new chapter as parents while also expressing a desire to protect their family's privacy. They described the experience as a joyful milestone and said they hoped to navigate parenthood away from public attention.

Since then, Brown has occasionally spoken about motherhood, offering glimpses into her experience while continuing to maintain clear boundaries around her daughter's identity. Her recent comments provide one of her most personal discussions yet about the adoption journey and the meaning it holds for her family.
