Tom Hanks, who has been married to Rita Wilson for 38 years, offered a light-hearted piece of advice to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as they prepare for their upcoming wedding.

Speaking to E! News at the Los Angeles premiere of Toy Story 5 on June 9, the 69-year-old actor said, "The man must make the waffles on Sunday." Hanks, who has voiced Woody since the first Toy Story film in 1995, shared the tip while reflecting on his decades-long marriage.

Swift, 36, was also at the premiere, celebrating her new song "I Knew It, I Knew You" featured in the film. The track, co-written with Jack Antonoff, broke the record for most streamed country song in a single day by a female artist on Spotify after its release on June 5. Hanks admitted he only learned about the song on release day.

"They said, 'Tonight at 9 o'clock, Taylor Swift is going to be dropping the song that ends our movie,' and I said, 'Well I've seen the movie and there was no Taylor Swift song.' They said, 'We know.' It was all like this diabolical... They don't trust us, and there is a brain trust that goes along that I am not a part of. So, I just do what I'm told," he explained.

On the red carpet, Swift carried a VHS copy of the original Toy Story and asked Hanks and Tim Allen to sign it. Hanks later told USA Today that he joked she should have brought a VHS player too. "I told her she should have brought in the VHS machine so that we could have signed it as that could go into the Smithsonian Institute as well," he laughed.

Swift and Kelce, who got engaged last summer after two years of dating, are set to wed on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Sources told Page Six that guests will arrive on blacked-out buses and enter through multiple secure entrances. The star-studded guest list reportedly includes Zoë Kravitz, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, and Ed Sheeran.

The couple had initially planned a smaller Rhode Island wedding but decided to go "all out" with a larger celebration. Swift has described writing for Toy Story 5 as a dream come true, saying in a June 1 Instagram post, "I've always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I've adored since I was a 5-year-old kid watching the first Toy Story movie."

Toy Story 5 will be released in theaters on June 19.
