Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly planning to get married at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with multiple sources confirming the iconic Midtown Manhattan arena as the chosen venue for one of the most anticipated weddings in recent celebrity history.

Page Six first reported the news on Friday, citing sources who described an operation shrouded in secrecy, with guests expected to be ferried to the venue on blacked-out buses and the building's multiple entrances and robust security infrastructure being leveraged to keep the occasion as private as possible. "Everyone's been sworn to secrecy," one insider told the outlet.

The ceremony is understood to be scheduled for July 3 weekend, and TMZ separately reported that between 1,100 and 1,200 guests are expected to attend, a guest list that reportedly includes Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, and musician Benson Boone. Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry were notably not invited, following a widely reported falling out with the couple.

The choice of venue, while unconventional, makes a certain kind of sense for a pair of this stature. Swift has performed at MSG eight times across multiple tours and has deep personal roots in New York City, where she owns several properties in Tribeca and once served as the city's Global Welcome Ambassador. As one source put it, when you have the resources, transforming an arena into a wedding venue is entirely within reach.

The July 3 weekend timing adds an additional layer of logistical complexity, with New York City already bracing for massive crowds due to America's 250th anniversary celebrations, the NBA Finals, and a World Cup match at MetLife Stadium. NYPD commissioner Jessica Tisch even made a passing, if joking, reference to Swift's wedding earlier this week while discussing the city's security preparations for the holiday weekend.

Swift, 36, and Kelce, 36, got engaged in August 2025 after going public with their relationship in September 2023.
