Khloé Kardashian has revealed that she legally owns the embryos she created with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, years after the pair ended their on-and-off relationship.
During the May 28 episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, the reality star sat down with Thompson for a candid conversation about co-parenting, family life and their future plans. The former couple share daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 3, while Thompson is also father to sons Prince and Theo from previous relationships.
The discussion took an unexpected turn when Thompson jokingly suggested the pair should have another child together. Kardashian quickly shut down the idea, replying, "No. I'm okay. But I do have some more embryos."
"Yeah. Got to do something with them," Thompson responded, before Kardashian revealed, "I'll figure it out. You signed them over to me anyway, so I legally own them."
Elsewhere in the episode, the pair discussed Thompson's vasectomy, with Kardashian admitting she played a major role in convincing him to go through with the procedure.
When she asked whether he wanted more children in the future, Thompson explained, "I think I signed off for two embryos. So, I mean, if I do have more kids, it'd be coming from you. I already have enough baby moms. Don't want no more."
Kardashian then joked that she helped him make the decision, saying, "Tristan may have had a little ultimatum from me."
Thompson laughed about the situation and compared the procedure to being "neutered," though he later admitted he had initially resisted the idea. "I've been a little hardheaded at times," he confessed. "Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision."
Kardashian also revealed that Thompson preserved sperm before the vasectomy in case he changes his mind in the future or wants children with a future partner. "We saved sperm because I said, 'What if you get married and your wife doesn't have kids?'" she explained.
Despite their complicated romantic history, Kardashian and Thompson appeared comfortable discussing their family dynamic during the episode. The pair split for good in 2021 after Thompson was involved in another cheating scandal, but they have continued to co-parent their children together.
