Zendaya and Tom Holland have plenty of love to go around.
Indeed, over three months after her stylist Law Roach hinted that the longtime couple had married, the Challengers actress said she had enlarged her family with a new dog.
"Logistically, it wasn't probably the smartest idea," Zendaya told Elle in an interview published on May 21, adding that the new pocket bully raises their total number of fur babies to three. "Emotionally, it was." "He's an excellent addition to our family."
As the 29-year-old explained, "I saw his little face and I was like, 'I can't leave you behind.'"
And Zendaya's newest pup could have won the puppy parent lottery, as she has already explained how she spoils her older dog Noon.
"I'd say quintessential Hollywood s--t is probably how I am with my dog," she told Interview in February. "They receive their nice meals through vitamin pills. It sounds absurd when I say it, but I adore my child."
The drama actress said, "That's probably the most ridiculous Hollywood thing about me, how my dog is living."
However, Zendaya is not the only animal lover in the house. In fact, Tom previously detailed his love for his dog Tessa, a Staffordshire bull terrier named Tessa that he sometimes took to work with him.
"I love her; she's an angel," he told Time in 2017. "She is the sweetest, most angelic thing you'll ever meet."
However, the Holland family, who adopted Tessa in 2014, said goodbye to her in 2024 with poignant tributes after her death.
Tom commented on Instagram at the time, beside a photo of himself and the puppy, "Missing my lady."
Meanwhile, his father, Dominic Holland, thought on Tessa's close relationship with Tom and his family.
"Not so much an obituary—but more an insight into the final lap of the life of a remarkable little dog who had come to dominate my family," he posted to his blog. "Indeed, she was the only Holland who everyone loved all of the time."
