Kate Hudson turned her son Ryder Robinson's college graduation into a memorable family celebration, bringing together loved ones, including former partners Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy, as well as her fiancé Danny Fujikawa, to mark the milestone in New York City.

The actress, 47, attended Ryder's graduation ceremony at New York University surrounded by family members from different chapters of her life. Hudson shares Ryder, 22, with Robinson, son Bingham, 14, with Bellamy, and daughter Rani, 7, with Fujikawa.

Excited about the occasion, Hudson shared moments from the celebration on Instagram, posting a series of photos from the day.

"My college graduate!!!!!! @mr.ryderrobinson," she wrote in the caption.

The photo collection opened with Hudson posing alongside Ryder, her mother Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell during the ceremony. Hudson and Russell smiled as they held up purple NYU caps while celebrating Ryder's achievement.

Other images highlighted touching family moments throughout the day. One photo showed Hudson and Robinson standing with Ryder between them, while another featured Ryder posing with friends. The collection also included a picture of Hudson's three children together, capturing a rare sibling moment.

Several photos focused on lighter family interactions as well. Hudson shared a sweet father-and-son image of Ryder embracing Robinson. Another featured young Rani helping her mother prepare her look for the event. Rani also appeared alongside Fujikawa in playful photos showing off humorous expressions.

Although Bellamy did not appear in Hudson's Instagram slideshow, PEOPLE previously reported that he was also present at the graduation celebration.

Hudson welcomed Ryder in 2004 and later had Bingham in 2011. In 2018, she expanded her family again with the birth of daughter Rani.

Earlier this year, Hudson spoke proudly about Ryder and his educational milestone during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She suggested that Ryder could potentially be the first person in their family history to complete a college degree.

Hudson also revealed that Ryder appears to have inherited some of her creative instincts. While he has shown an interest in acting, she said he is also passionate about furniture design. She explained that he is currently building a sofa, joking that perhaps he should consider pursuing that path professionally.
