Ashley Graham recently included all three of her sons in a magazine photo shoot, while making it clear that protecting their privacy remains a top priority.
The 38 year old appeared on the cover of Marie Claire for its annual Motherhood issue, posing with her children Isaac, 6, and twins Malachi and Roman, 4, whom she shares with her husband Justin Ervin. The images offered a rare glimpse into her family life. In one photo, Graham held her eldest son on her lap as he turned away from the camera. Another captured a candid moment of her lying down while the twins moved playfully around a wooden bench.
Despite allowing this brief window into her life as a mother, Graham emphasized that she intends to keep her children largely out of the public eye. She explained that while she has shared much of her personal journey over the years, her sons are something she considers deeply private. In a world where people often share every detail online, she believes some aspects of life should remain protected.
Maintaining that boundary has not always been easy, especially as her eldest son shows a growing interest in performing. Graham described Isaac as expressive and full of personality, often putting on performances at home. He enjoys music from Aladdin and has dreams that range from acting on Broadway to becoming a chef. Even with his enthusiasm, she said she is not planning to introduce him to auditions anytime soon.
For now, her focus is on allowing her children to experience a normal childhood. She wants them to spend their time playing, exploring, and enjoying life without the pressures that can come with public exposure.
Graham has occasionally shared small insights into her family life in the past. Ahead of her Broadway debut in Chicago, she revealed that her sons were not expected to attend her performances. Still, Isaac appeared to understand the significance of her work. During a video call, he even referenced her role as Roxie Hart, showing that he listens closely to conversations around him.
She recalled that when she first told him about performing on Broadway, he compared it to seeing a show inspired by Michael Jackson, which made her smile.
Through it all, Graham continues to balance her public career with a strong commitment to keeping her children's lives grounded and private.
