Bonnie Locket is writing her own happy ending.
The 38-year-old, who is popular on the platform OnlyFans, announced that she has decided to marry herself after being cheated on in previous relationships.
"I found myself in a position where I'm 38 years old and I've been disappointed by so many men," she stated in a press release obtained by Us Weekly on April 29. "There are so many women out there like me who have been disappointed by men, and they reach this ripe old age of not having children; the body clock is ticking, and we haven't married or settled down. "We're on our own."
She went on, "I feel like if I'm going to be on my own, I'm going to make a definitive statement about it. I can't disappoint myself. This cannot end in divorce. This cannot end in infidelity, and I will not hurt myself."
Locket was previously married to someone she had been with for 11 years, but nine months into their marriage, she discovered he had allegedly been cheating on her throughout their relationship.
Following the dissolution of her marriage, Locket began dating a new partner, but that relationship was also alleged to be based on infidelity.
The OnlyFans creator has been single for seven months, the longest period since she was a teenager.
She's currently planning her dream wedding. According to us, the event will take place in Ibiza in March, and Locket will wear her dream wedding gown, a custom Galia Lahav gown worth more than $20,000.
"I want to change the meaning of that dress because it meant so much to me and it was something I've wanted since I was a little girl," she said. "I had the dream wedding before, but it just goes to show that how much money you have or how much you spend on a wedding is irrelevant. I believe I'm the only person I'd trust with that vow."
She's also giving herself a custom engagement ring with a three-carat yellow diamond worth up to $25,000. She chose the diamond's color to symbolize both the Ibiza sun and the sunny future she envisions for herself.
"I've already had a normal diamond before with my ex-husband, so I wanted something different," she said. "I want to get married. I believe in marriage. I simply don't believe in it with another human."
And, while some may find Locket's decision to marry herself unusual, she would not have it any other way.
"I feel full without having a partner," she replied. "For me to have ended up 38, no kids, on my own in a different country and surviving, I think that deserves celebrating."
