Paige Shiver has revealed that she became pregnant during her involvement with former University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore.

Speaking in an emotional interview, Shiver said the pregnancy was complicated by a serious medical condition. According to her, doctors advised that continuing the pregnancy would not be safe.

"Multiple doctors and experts told me that it wouldn't be right or healthy for me to keep the baby," she said. When asked if she had wanted to keep the child, she responded tearfully, "Yeah."

Shiver added that Moore was aware of the situation at the time and supported her decision. Recalling his response, she said, "He said, 'You have to do what's right for your body.'"

The relationship between Shiver and Moore began in 2022 when she was an intern and later continued after she was promoted to executive assistant. She described the dynamic as one where Moore held significant influence over her role, noting that he "could fire me in a second."

Reflecting on that period, she said that while she once believed the relationship was genuine, her perspective has since shifted. "Back then, I did," she said, referring to being in love, before adding that "that's not love at all."

The situation ultimately led to Moore's dismissal from the University of Michigan in December 2025 after Shiver reported the relationship. That same day, an incident occurred at her home, which she described as frightening.

"All of the sudden I hear footsteps and they're getting closer and louder," she recalled. "He barges in and he's standing this close to me and he said, 'You ruined my life, why would you do this to me?'"

Shiver said she feared for her safety during the encounter, adding, "Oh my gosh, yes," when asked if she felt her life was in danger.

Moore later faced legal proceedings and pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation and fined.

Following the outcome, Shiver expressed disappointment, saying, "I think he should have gotten more punishment for what he did."
