Anna Sitar is preparing for marriage.
The influencer and Josh "Bru" Brubaker—better known as "Bru on the Radio"—have announced their engagement after more than four years of dating.
On April 20, Bru teased with a TikTok post that read, "BREAKING: Anna and Bru are no longer dating. "Because we are engaged!!!"
Meanwhile, Anna shared their engagement photos, which were captured on a beach during golden hour. She wore a floral maxi dress, while he was dressed in a white button-down shirt and jeans.
What about her engagement nails? Anna selected a butter yellow color to complement her pear-shaped diamond ring. Anna captioned her April 20 post with a riff on her signature catchphrase: "I'm so happy you're here (forever)."
Anna admitted that she had been expecting the engagement, posting a video of herself from January saying, "I feel like something's going to happen this year." The girls who get it get it. So I'll check in periodically until something happens."
She filmed her empty ring finger every few weeks from January 2 until her proposal, which she claimed took place on April 2.
The couple, both 29, announced their romance in December 2021 after bonding over their shared home state of Michigan. They had teased their relationship for months prior to their official launch, with Bru joking in his TikTok announcement to "act shocked."
Anna recently shared a recap of their online meet-cute, reflecting on their love story. In 2020, after seeing a TikTok of her future husband at a radio station in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she commented, "omg yay Michigan."
From there, they exchanged flirty comments before meeting in person the following year. She included photos from the previous four years leading up to their proposal.
Anna wrote in the caption, "Always imagined forever with my best friend."
