Kylie Jenner is facing a lawsuit filed by a former housekeeper who alleges she was subjected to discrimination, harassment and a hostile work environment during her employment.
According to court documents, Angelica Vasquez began working in September 2024 at Jenner's Beverly Hills home before being reassigned to her Hidden Hills residence.
In the filing, Vasquez claims she was "treated with hostility and exclusion" from the start and was "subjected to severe and pervasive harassment" by supervisors and other staff members.
Vasquez, who identifies as Salvadoran and Catholic, alleges she was "belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin and religion."
She also claims she was mocked over her beliefs, including being told "Catholics are horrible people," and faced remarks related to her immigration status.
The lawsuit further states that she was routinely given "the most difficult and undesirable tasks," excluded from team activities and subjected to degrading treatment, including supervisors allegedly snapping their fingers at her and shouting.
In one incident, she claims a supervisor threw hangers at her while reprimanding her.
"This conduct was continuous and created a toxic and abusive work environment," the complaint states, adding that her concerns were "dismissed, mocked or ignored" when she raised them.
Vasquez also alleges wage-related violations, including unpaid overtime, lack of proper breaks and unreimbursed expenses. She claims the working conditions led to "anxiety, severe stress and symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder," prompting her to take medical leave in July 2025 before resigning the following month.
The lawsuit names Jenner, along with several associated companies, as defendants. However, the filing does not accuse Jenner directly of engaging in the alleged conduct, focusing instead on the actions of household staff and management, as well as an alleged failure to address complaints.
Vasquez is seeking damages for emotional distress, lost wages and other compensation, as well as punitive damages.
Sources familiar with the situation have disputed some of the claims, alleging that the former employee had attendance-related issues during her time on the job.
Jenner has not publicly responded to the allegations.
