The American Idol alum, who was booted from the show's 24th season on April 13, initiated her romance with fellow competitor Brooks Rosser on the show's Disney Night on April 20th.

Following Brooks' rendition of Miley Cyrus' "The Climb," host Ryan Seacrest teased a surprise for the singer.

"Brooks, one of the great things about this show is the people you meet, the relationships you form, the special, magical moments that happen," Ryan commented. "Did you connect with anyone? Because I hear you're the real Prince Charming."

While the 22-year-old felt a little shy, Ryan disclosed that Rae had returned to support him, saying, "One of Brooks' biggest fans has come back."

After running on stage and hugging Brooks, Rae confirmed their showmance by declaring, "The princess is here to claim her prince."

Even though Rae's Idol adventure was over, the 24-year-old was pleased to support her new partner, who had just made it to the Top Seven. Throughout the series, people assumed that the two Maryland-based singers were dating, leaving comments under their shared Instagram images singing together.

One social media user commented on an April 12 post, saying, "Truly hope this is a love story in the making." Another wrote, "Rae should take note of how this amazing guy is looking at her." "This is what fairytales are made of."

Regardless of who wins the next season of American Idol, it appears that Rae and Brooks have found their fairytale ending.

However, now that he has advanced, Brooks still has a chance to win the title, with Taylor Swift Night on April 27 as his next challenge.

Despite being eliminated, Rae has maintained her composure and pursued her musical dreams.

"Keep manifesting your dreams, baddies," she wrote in an Instagram post commemorating her time on Idol shared on April 16. “When one door closes, three more open.”
