Khloe Kardashian is speaking out against her ex-husband Lamar Odom, calling his recent claims about their marriage "f–ked up" and "insane" following the release of his documentary.
During an episode of her Khloe in Wonderland podcast, Kardashian reacted to comments made in Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom, where it was alleged that Odom once said he married her in 2009 to "better his future" through her "mad connections."
"You're sitting on camera saying you married me for fame," Kardashian said. "You, your friends, you guys are all saying how you were with me just for fame. That's like some f–ked up s–t. I feel so dumb, I spent hours and time doing this documentary as a favor. I'm not paid one penny."
The reality star, 41, expressed frustration over agreeing to participate in the project, explaining that she had been assured it would present Odom in a positive light. "I said, 'I want to make sure this is a positive piece. I don't really want to go down this road if it's negative,'" she recalled, adding that revisiting the past was "traumatic."
Kardashian also pushed back against Odom's recent press comments, where he appeared to downplay her role in helping him recover from his near-fatal 2015 overdose.
"I think what's pissing me off is... now Lamar is doing press, annoyed with me. Claiming or insinuating that I'm a liar... discrediting me, saying that I wasn't the one that helped him," she said. "For years, he was singing my praises... But you're not now going to s–t on me or now play in my face because you don't like the reaction and the response from the public."
She added, "All I did was tell the story that I was asked by you to tell... but now to act like I didn't do any of the things I did and insinuate I'm a liar is crazy."
The former couple, who married in 2009 and separated in 2013, have had a complicated history. Kardashian supported Odom during his recovery after the overdose, even pausing their divorce at the time.
In addition to the documentary controversy, Kardashian criticized other actions by Odom, including what she described as "violating" and "gross" behavior, accusing him of seeking attention and "not taking accountability for anything."
Meanwhile, a source close to Odom said his recent press appearances were part of his contractual obligations and noted that he has "said repeatedly that she showed up for him, took care of him, and played a meaningful role in his recovery."
