Hailey Bieber is setting the record straight on persistent rumours about her relationship with paparazzi, firmly denying claims that she alerts photographers to her whereabouts.

Speaking in a recent interview with Interview Magazine, the Rhode founder addressed the speculation directly, describing it as both false and unsettling. "The spirit behind it is very dark and I don't think it's something that anybody asks for in this world," she said, before adding that she finds it "really funny" when people claim she calls paparazzi on herself, branding the narrative "icky."

The 29-year-old also reflected on the nature of paparazzi culture more broadly, noting that its reputation has remained largely unchanged over time. "Historically we've seen that paparazzi are awful," she said. "I don't think it's gotten any better or any worse."

Despite her discomfort with constant public scrutiny, Bieber admitted that being photographed has had an unexpected influence on her sense of style. She explained that seeing candid images of herself has made her more aware of how outfits translate on camera compared to real life.

"When you're being photographed just leaving the house, you have to think about style in a lot of different ways," she shared. She added that some outfits that looked great in person didn't always come across the same in photos.

She also pointed out that even carefully chosen red carpet looks can sometimes miss the mark visually. "I've worn things where it's like, 'I love this dress, I feel stunning,'" she said, "and I get on the carpet and I'm like, 'That looks strange.'"

Those experiences have gradually shaped her fashion philosophy. Bieber revealed that she now leans toward a more minimal and effortless approach, embracing the idea that less is more. "The more I'm trying to make an outfit look good, the less it works," she explained, adding, "It doesn't need to be that deep."

Away from the spotlight, Bieber also shared insight into her family life with husband Justin Bieber and their son. When it comes to dressing her child, she prefers a relaxed style, explaining, "My vibe with him is cozy and yummy and cute and simple."
