Jessi Draper is navigating a difficult personal moment as she spent Easter Sunday away from her children for the first time amid her ongoing divorce from Jordan Ngatikaura.
On April 5, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 33, shared a candid update on her Instagram Stories. In the post, she appeared lying in bed and expressed her emotions about being apart from her kids during the holiday. Over the image, she wrote that her first holiday without her children felt very difficult, while still adding an Easter greeting to her followers.
The separation comes shortly after Ngatikaura officially filed for divorce on March 19, following a year of separation. The next day, he also filed for a restraining order against Draper, according to prior reports. The former couple share two children, a son named Jagger, 5, and a daughter named Jovi, 3. Ngatikaura also has a daughter, Peyton, from a previous relationship.
In a statement shared in March, Ngatikaura described the decision to divorce as not easy and emphasized that his focus remains on his children. He stated that he intends to ensure they feel supported, loved, and protected throughout the transition, and expressed a desire to approach the situation with respect and kindness.
Before the divorce filing became public, Draper had spoken about the relationship in an interview, noting that the couple had been attending therapy to work through their issues. She described the marriage as still in progress and acknowledged that they were actively trying to improve things.
Draper later said in a podcast appearance that she learned about the divorce filing through media reports rather than directly from Ngatikaura. He has not publicly responded to that claim.
In recent social media posts, Draper has also appeared to be embracing her single life. She shared photos of herself in a metallic dress with a caption suggesting a lighthearted attitude toward divorce.
There have also been reports linking Draper to other social interactions, including an alleged moment at a party. At the same time, other individuals involved in those rumors have shared their own responses online, though representatives for those involved have not issued formal comments.
As she adjusts to her new reality, Draper continues to share glimpses of her life publicly while managing co-parenting responsibilities and personal change.
