Madison Marilla and Tyler White have scheduled a wedding. During season four of the Netflix dating series, the Love on the Spectrum actors made an emotional proposal, bringing the couple full circle.

Tyler and Madison, both 28, went to the Sunken Gardens in Tampa, Fla., to celebrate one year of dating in the same site where they first met in season three. Episode six of the current season premiered on the streaming service on April 1. Tyler arranged the venue in a "Christmas in July" theme and left a note in a mailbox for his girlfriend.

"I knew in my heart when I met you that I had found someone special, unique, and precious," he said in the note, which Madison read with tears. "For our one-year anniversary, I'd like to offer you a gift to show how much you mean to me. I knew I had found my person the instant I saw you, and I don't want to wait any longer to tell the world how I feel."

Tyler then got down on one knee and officially asked Madison for her hand in marriage.

"I can't believe it," she stated several times throughout the proposal, describing her response as "the easiest yes." ”

Madison was kept in the dark about the wonderful event, although she did admit to having a feeling that something major was going on.

"Tyler pulled my parents aside, and they were speaking for a very long time when we all had dinner at Tyler's house," she told Netflix's Tudum in an interview published April 1. “I kind of had a feeling that night that he was probably asking them for their blessing.”

And when the newly engaged couple—both on the autistic spectrum—gets to work preparing a cowboy-and-princess-themed celebration, they don't lose sight of their deep bond.

“The thing I love about us being an autistic couple is we help each other overcome our struggles,” Tyler told the outlet. "I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with Madison by my side.”
