Abby and Matt Howard have some excellent news to share.
The TikTokers announced that they are expecting another child. Abby and Matt posted a carousel of photos of themselves clutching their sonogram on Instagram on March 24. "Baby #4," the couple wrote the joint image with a rainbow emoji, alongside shots of their two kids Griffin, 3, and August, 2, who participated in the session. "Grateful beyond measure." Abby and Matt, who have been married since 2019, were praised by their friends in the comments.
Singer Jessica Biao said, "No way. I'm really thrilled for you." Eamon and Bec, a couple of social media stars, wrote, "The best news!!! Tori Roloff, star of Little People Big
World, wrote, "Congratulations friends!!!!!!" What a blessed little babe!" Abby's pregnancy comes six months after she revealed the loss of their baby daughter at only 17 weeks due to a prenatal genetic issue.
"It is with very heavy hearts that we share about the loss of our baby girl, born far too soon," the pair wrote in a joint Instagram post on September 25.
“At a routine pregnancy appointment, our doctor could not find a heartbeat. Shortly after they sent us in for an ultrasound where the technician said words we will never forget, ‘I am so sorry I do not have good news.’”
Despite their shared sadness, Abby and Matt remained optimistic. "The news felt unimaginable," their statement said. "The grief is completely awful. But we are very grateful for the time we did have with her. We still have hope. Hope has continued to show up for us in so many different ways."
Abby has also spoken out about how she is dealing with her pregnancy and why she was scared to go public following the loss of their daughter.
On the March 25 episode of their podcast, The Unplanned, she told Matt, "I feel like I'm very, very lucky." "I just have a lot of headaches right now; I don't feel that horrible. About 60% of me says, "I don't want to do it," but there is also a part of me that is relieved to be discussing this in public.
She continued, "There's just so much." "Gosh, I'm just a person right? We were so vocal about our miscarriage. We seem to have been so open and genuine about everything, and there are some pressures associated with dealing with something so delicate in public.
Despite her fears, Matt noted of his wife, “You’re glowing by the way. “I think this is your prettiest pregnancy yet.”
