A woman has accused Puka Nacua of biting her and making an antisemitic remark during a New Year's Eve outing in 2025, according to multiple reports. The allegations were included in a request for a temporary restraining order, which was ultimately denied by a Los Angeles judge. The situation was first reported by TMZ.

Nacua, 24, has denied all claims through his attorney, Levi G. McCathern II. In a statement, McCathern said the athlete rejects the accusations entirely and plans to take legal action. He stated that a defamation lawsuit will be filed in response to what he described as false and harmful allegations.

According to the complaint cited in reports, the woman alleges that she was having dinner with Nacua on December 31, 2025 when he made an offensive remark targeting Jewish people. She described this as the beginning of behavior that escalated over the course of the evening.

The complaint further claims that later in the night, while traveling in a vehicle with a group that included the woman and her friend, Nacua allegedly engaged in inappropriate physical conduct. The woman alleges that he bit her friend's thumb with enough force to cause pain, and then bit her shoulder, breaking the skin and leaving a visible mark.

The woman reportedly filed a police report the following day. An image included in the complaint is said to show teeth marks on her shoulder following the alleged incident.

McCathern also told USA Today that the woman had requested a significant financial payment in exchange for not making the allegations public. He emphasized that the case does not involve claims of a sexual nature or domestic violence, and added that it does not include elements of antisemitism.

The accusations come shortly after a separate controversy involving Nacua in December 2025. During a livestream with Adin Ross, the athlete performed a gesture that has been associated with antisemitic stereotypes. The moment occurred while discussing potential touchdown celebrations.

Nacua later issued a public apology on Instagram, explaining that he was unaware of the meaning behind the gesture at the time. He expressed regret and stated that he does not support racism, bigotry, or hate toward any group.
