The 28-year-old singer, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, was accused of allowing a security guard to confront the 11-year-old daughter of Jude Law during her stay in Brazil for a major music festival appearance.

The claims first surfaced in a social media post from footballer Jorginho Frello, who is married to Catherine Harding, the child's mother. He alleged the situation escalated after the girl simply walked past Roan's table during breakfast and smiled.

According to the account, a security guard then approached the family and spoke in what was described as an aggressive tone, accusing the child of being disrespectful and warning of further action.

The incident reportedly left the young girl frightened and in tears, prompting sharp criticism online and a direct rebuke from Frello, who questioned the response to what he portrayed as harmless behavior.

However, Roan has now offered her version of events, distancing herself from the confrontation and insisting she had no involvement in the security guard's actions.

Speaking via social media, the singer said she "did not see" any interaction unfold and emphasized that the individuals involved never approached her directly.

She further clarified that the security personnel in question was not part of her personal team and that she did not instruct anyone to engage with the mother and child.

Roan also addressed broader criticism, rejecting suggestions that she harbors negative feelings toward fans or children, calling such claims "unfair" and inconsistent with her values.

In a conciliatory note, the performer extended an apology to Harding and her daughter, expressing regret over the distress caused by the situation and acknowledging that the experience should not have happened.

The controversy comes amid heightened attention on Roan as her international profile continues to rise, placing increased scrutiny on her public interactions.
